Chicago FreeSpeechZone is the only news Web site dedicated to the peace
movement and civil liberties in Chicago. It is committed to covering all
organizations, strategies and ideologies behind the movement. It focuses
on area happenings as well as local connections to national and global
issues.
More than anything, Chicago FreeSpeechZone is about commitment. Beneath
the surface, each story is about why these people are committed to peace
and how far they're willing to go to express and defend that belief; for
that reason, all stories are written as character-based narratives
rather than in the traditional newspaper style.
