WHO: All video, film and animation artists everywhere. WHAT: An international open video and film competition, as part of the 'Signals' Art Festival in Crystal Palace, South London. This is the fifth year of Signals, a unique and innovative arts festival which takes over the centre of Crystal Palace for two weeks every September. 'Signals 5' promises to be the biggest and boldest yet.
Please submit work of no more than 10 minutes duration on the theme of 'Inside-out'. All selected works will be shown outside on a big screen, and also included in the online CyberSignals event. The outdoor screening event takes place for one-night only, and will be sited in the yard of an old Victorian factory. WHEN: September 8th 2007 WHERE: Crystal Palace, South London TO APPLY: Please send your work in mini-DV format (PAL only), along with hard-copies of a synopsis of your work, and a short biography including your email address. Artists may submit more than one work. Please supply a large SAE if you wish to have your work returned. Please state if you give us permission to place your work, or extracts of, onto YouTube, under a CC license. Selected artists will be notified in mid-August.
