IMHO: Why should anybody place the number nine hundred and eleven displayed two thousand times into a context? It seems a joke to suggest it be taken *seriously*, it's like old what's his face and his bricks in the tate modern.
If any response to it must come only from those who are *serious* and have a thorough knowledge of Alan's work, then they should be the only recipients. To me it's detachment from the day in history when the twin towers were devastated by two planes and so represents my detachment from that day and all that goes with it.
