workshop Moving Image Lab at B3 Media, London

In
this intense workshop you will design an online audiovisual project by
using a combination of audiovisual, databased and interactive media.
These tools will provide you with ways of creating, producing and
experiencing fresh forms of storytelling.
Trainers and content Jakob
Schillinger (GER) and Klaas Kuitenbrouwer (NL) and Sasha Pohflepp (GER)
will bring you up-to-date on current cultural and technical
developments in digital media: from pod casting to streaming media,
from participatory web 2.0 projects to the various uses of mobile
phones. Savvy technical assistants will be present to help you with
your prototype.
The
workshop Moving Image Lab will start on Sunday October 28 with an
opening symposium. Current media makers will present projects and views
in relation to the workshop. On Friday November 2nd, the workshop will
end with a public presentation where the participants will discuss
their projects and experiences. This platform will provide you the
opportunity to share ideas and network with peers.

In
deze intensieve workshop ontwerp je een online audiovisueel project. De
combinatie van audiovisuele-, databased en interactieve media bieden je
de mogelijkheid om nieuwe verfrissende manieren van verhalen vertellen
te creëren, te produceren en te ervaren.
Trainers en inhoud
Onder
begeleiding van Jakob Schillinger (D), Sascha Pohflepp (D) en Klaas
Kuitenbrouwer (NL) leer je over tendensen in de web cultuur en wordt je
up-to-date gebracht over nieuwe culturele praktijken met betrekking tot
het internet. Je leert de basisprincipes van Korsakow en anyMeta en we
besteden aandacht aan web 2.0 tools, zoals mobile streaming en
podcasting e.d.
De
workshop Moving Image Lab start al op zondagmiddag 28 oktober met een
publiek symposium waarin media makers diverse voorbeelden van online
projecten tonen. Op vrijdag 2 november eindigt de workshop met een
publieke eindpresentatie waarin deelnemers hun ervaringen delen en
bespreken met het publiek. De hele week biedt je een platform om te
netwerken en ideeën uit te wisselen met gelijkgestemden.
