hi netbehviouriousts, earlier this year i discovered that someone (not me) had entered cyberformance onto wikipedia, with a well-written article & good links; thanks! whoever it was : ) at the time i added a couple of links & cross-references with other wikipedia articles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberformance
but now the article has been marked for deletion : ( the person who has marked it for deletion says he's done this because all of "all the sources being self references to Second Life culture" which isn't true at all - there are references to SL but also to lots of other things & none of my own work or some of the other artists mentioned is in SL - & he also says there are no academic views on cyberformance which also isn't true (& my own just-completed Masters thesis isn't the only one). if anyone feels like supporting the cyberformance article & saving it from deletion, please go to the cyberformance page & click through to the deletion comments page to add your voice. thanks, h : ) -- ____________________________________________________________ helen varley jamieson: creative catalyst [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.creative-catalyst.com http://www.avatarbodycollision.org http://www.upstage.org.nz http://www.writerfind.com/hjamieson.htm ____________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ NetBehaviour mailing list [email protected] http://www.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour
