(apologies for cross posting) Dear all,
It is a pleasure to invite you to the thematic evening "Traffic of images" There is who shoot using digital video, others prefere to generate them trough mathematical algorithms; they can illustrate a concert, the performance of a DJ, or be exposed in a gallery as video-art pieces. Audio-visual creations are each time more hybrid and difficult to catalogue, and for this reason, even more interesting. "Traffic of images" offers a selection of creatives and artists with different styles, disciplines and visions. Programme: AUDIO-VISUAL PERFORMANCE "MITOSIS", by NEURO-NOISE Self-made instruments, sound, light, interaction and image integrated in one narrative unit, played in a 50' audiovisual live. Several disciplines (scenic arts, interactivity and new media, music, sound and video) come together into the project "MITOSIS", which is based on the research and developments achieved by Neuro-Noise during the past few years. The live performance proposes a trip to the interior of that daily, elementary and original thing that is the origin of life. www.neuronoise.org <http://www.neuronoise.org%20> VIDEO PROJECTIONS "Sombras Project". The work displays organic images that become abstracted in abyssal bottoms, creating a changing audio-visual space and broking the traditional concept of frame of screen, designed in this case to be looped with permutations. Images have been created with digital and analogical particle generators, or come from 1920's copyleft documentaries, as well as of recent shootings and images obtained at archive.org. www.audiovisions.es Thematic night "Traffic of images" Date and hour: 04/10/2008, 8pm Place: CaixaForum Barcelona (Av.
