ArtRSS:

  http://net18reaching.org/artrss/index.php

It works off a list of close to 120 English language art and new media
RSS feeds. The feeds are from organization, publications, institutions,
but not (at least not yet) from individual artists. It re-reads the
feeds every four hours, caches them, so that they are immediately
available; and it creates a database of just about all of the words
found in the feeds. This makes for extremely fast searches across feeds
and for fast access to individual feeds.

I hope ArtRSS will be useful to you, but on the other hand your use of
it will be useful to me, because it is part of an ongoing database
project which is currently percolating. ArtRSS will keep track of the
such things as: the terms queried, the frequency with which they are
queried, where the queries come from geographically, and how often the
individual feeds are accessed.
