Vibe³ (Vibe Cube) is a sound installation incorporating collected,
donated, and archived sounds expressing “spirit of place”, touring
across venues in Essex between May and September 09.

>From wildlife to nightlife, people working to children playing,
historical sounds and contemporary noises; hundreds of sounds that make
up the background to life in Essex. People living and working in Harlow,
Colchester and Basildon have already contributed sounds such as a
heartbeat recorded on an ultrasound machine at Basildon Hospital,
animals from Colchester Zoo, and an interview with Frank Gibberd, the
architect who helped design Harlow New Town. A collaborative project
with Stuart Bowditch commissioned by Essex County Council.
