Sustainable Haringey groups are collaborating to pool resources in the
creation of skill share bazaars that can come together and travel around
the borough promoting all things handmade . . . we hope you will get
involved and help shape the event . . .
Skill Share Bazaar: Open plan area hosting reskilling workshops: see
table below . . .
Give or Take: Bring any useable household object to give away and take
home something you like or need.
Clean Energy: Get on yer BIKE - all things bikes. Solar PV, Photovoltaic
and SolarBrane technologies explained . . . and local resources to
integrate these technologies. En10ergy workshop on starting your own
community energy scheme.
Info Zone: a library of books, films, magazines, grassroots 'zines' and
leaflets, how-to brochures and pamphlets
Workshops and Speakers: eco-teams, climate conversations, transition
town training, introduction to permaculture: specific attention will be
given to local community projects and issues relating to the
demographics and needs of haringey.
Art Space: participate in recycled art workshops and interactive eco-art
projects Natural Health and Healing: introduction to herbal medicine and
making your own simple recipes (maybe Chinese medicine too?).
Food Glorious Food: Food Coop will be selling fresh locally sourced
organic food; sign up to a local organic box scheme initiative; learn
about organic, safe and earth-friendly food, products and ways of doing
trade. Mobile Gardening workshop – what to get growing in spring . . .
plus, get potting up with B2E Green Screens Film Festival: screenings of
films throughout the day and round-table discussions.
Games: Class Wargames: Watch the Film and learn the game with others . .
. in playfully competing against each other over the board, players
learn the strategic and tactical skills to combat spectacular capitalism.
Green Drinks: Launch of a Haringey Green Drinks in the evening...
