Part of FutureEverything 2010

GloNet 2010 is a new kind of globally networked event, taking place
simultaneously in Sendai, Japan; Istanbul, Turkey; Manchester, England;
Sao Paulo, Brazil; Vancouver, Canada.

Drop by one of the five venues around the world, and chat with people in
the other international cities using the Talking Boxes scattered through
the public bar and cafe areas. For those of you taking the full plunge,
dive into the globe-spinning, head-spinning inspiration space of the
GloNet Conference. In Manchester or Sao Paulo, step into the living room
lovingly created within the venue, sit on a comfortable armchair, and see
someone on the other side of the globe magically transported into the
chair next to you.

Live events in five cities use experimental formats to bring real and
virtual audiences together around a central theme through talks,
performances, an art installation and networked social spaces, all in one

physical and virtual.
