had to implement some integrity checking for the event list (which
uses a memory pool) because there was something weird going on and the
list was malformed which caused serious errors the longer boxyseq
continued to run until it just crashed.

the video shows boxyseq running two patterns, one fast, one slow, the
two patterns consist of equi-stepped rhythms where each step in the
rhythm plays a random number of simultaneous events. the two patterns
output to four boundaries, one of which has errors in its coordinates
and so consequently takes on the dimensions of the grid.

the audio was recorded at preston steam rally, 2010-06-27, it's an
early sequencer!
