Not quite fitting but maybe in keeping with the times --
Please excuse cross-posting. I'm sending this to Millie Niss's
most-used lists.

I decided today to post some of Millie Niss's work on our Sporkworld
blog this morning. Seemed like a good way to remember her.

She created several posts July 4-5, 2009, and I thought others might
enjoy her work that day as I did, both then and now. In one case, she
converted a video in YouTube in order to reduce it in file size for
easier downloading.

Lo, and behold -- it has been censored. Without notice -- probably not
too bad, since "notice" would undoubtedly have been accompanied by a
threat. . .

After more than an hour of scouring her computer, I still fail to find a
smidgen of anything that could have provoked such aggressive action.

But YouTube has done me a favor, I guess -- moral indignation is a real
day brightener.
