Each month, our performance/art/technology collective The People Speak organises a Talkaoke session (www.talkaoke.com) to try out new talk-show hosting talent, demonstrate and test our latest conversational technologies, and have a good, public, open-ended chat about *stuff*. This week, we are unveiling some cool new features of our live conversational archiving software, and have a few hot new hosts to test out. We are also planning the construction of an all-new light-weight Talkaoke Table, so any audio/electronics mavins who want to have a look at our plans and stick your oars in, we're really open to ideas and collaboration. Aside from anything else, it's always a really fun night to have a drink and a chat with old and new friends, and if you're itching to take control of the hole - jump in and try your hand as the swivelly chairperson.
