I think Obama's anger is actually, unconsciously, directly at himself, as he
can't face how he's compromising his ideals, and failing the people who got him
elected, all in the name of pragmatisim, the kind of pragmatism that used to be
called appeasement.
It brings back Chamberlain returning with his treaty with "Herr Hitler," an
agreement that if Germany was given the Sudetenland, Hitler would stop his
aggression. Of course he didn't stop, just as the Republicians won't stop their
assault on the Constitution and Human Rights, in fact, on the planet's
environment itself. Bullies don't respect appeasement, but see it as an opening
for them to further their own program. Obama was touted as an historian, but
he's obviously a poor one.

I don't understand. Should we rule or judge the actions of people based on
their skin or their social belonging or the church they attend or the religion
or god they worship?
Obama is a Black intellectual, but raised in one of the most prestigious
universities in the US, backed as much for the big capital as for the humble
people giving 5 dollars to his campaign.
What does Obama to raise himself above all criticism? I am not a citizen of
the IS, it means I didn't vote for him, but all my friends who voted for him
did that because they believed in his will to change things, to erode old power
structures.
He failed, he failed to close Guantanamo, he didn't end the war in Irak, he
merely switched soldiers between Baghdad and Kabul and left in Baghdad an
embassy which is almost a complete city, as imperial as Saddams palaces (I know
that, I was there last year, I saw with my own eyes the arrogance, the
thousands of mercenary soldiers hired in Lima and Bogota, latino kids who
didn't speak a word English, outsourced to Blackwater and all their goons and
croonies).
Obama is going to be a foot note in the history and it's a pity, a lot of
good people had a lot of expectations.

tirades and diatribes for more than 100 years. Very few of them would
have been given a grade above D from most of my teachers.
When these progressives refer to themselves as Mr. Obama’s base, all
they see is themselves. They ignore polls showing steadfast support for
the president among blacks and Latinos. And now they are whispering
about a primary challenge against the president. Brilliant! The kind of
suicidal gesture that destroyed Jimmy Carter — and a way to lose the
black vote forever. [...]"
