what real alternatives are there to paypal? i feel that there MUST be
alternatives but i don't know of any ...

i've been trying to close my paypal account for some time (i opened it
when i was living in australia so it is tied to an australian bank
account that i have since closed; when i try to log in it wants me to
enter the account number as a "security measure" but having moved
countries a couple of times since then i don't have the number ... so
i've been in a stupid circular discussion with paypal asking them to
please just close the account, they insist that i must log in ... they
took off the "security measure" but it still required me to update
things like my address before i can actually close the account, which i
see no reason to do when i just want to close the f*&cking account ...
argh!!!!!)

which reminds me of the green dollars discussion that happened a while
back - maybe we need to set up a transnational green dollar system?

h : )
