Interesting to see that Gregor Muir is to be the new head of the ICA. Not a
bad choice - but an insider choice. After the bruising Eshun affair they
probably don't want another outsider.

The Guardian article gets one thing wrong (what's new). Gregor did not found
the Lux Gallery. That was founded by the Lux organisation, at the time under
the Directorship of Michael Maziere (now curator of Ambika). Gregor was
employed as the Lux gallery's first curator. It's a bit much to see a
seminal organisation, of international importance in the history of
experimental film and video, reduced to a footnote in the career development
of one curator.

Best

Simon
