Hi everyone,
We're delighted to announce that the 101010 showreel is now online,
along with other reviews and documentations from the 101010 UpStage
Festival, at http://upstage.org.nz/blog/?page_id=1662. The showreel has
excerpts from the festival performances as well as overview information
about UpStage. Thanks very much to Dan for his editing work, to the
artists who recorded performances and screengrabs, and of course to all
of 101010 artists, whose work is featured in the showreel :)
We'd also like to thank the artists from the three shows which played
again on Sunday 16th January, as part of the "Art's Birthday"
celebrations around the world. It was great to see "MASS-MESS" and
"Recipes" again, and to see "Strings Attached 2" for the first time, as
technical problems prevented it from playing during 101010.
The next event in UpStage will be an *open meeting** on **Wednesday 2
February*; you are all warmly invited to attend. It will be at 9am
European time, 9pm NZ time (find your local time here
<http://tinyurl.com/6z599o9>).
This meeting is to talk about what’s happening with UpStage: how we’d
like it to develop in the future and how we can make that happen. “We”
includes YOU – anyone who has been involved with UpStage in the past AND
anyone who is interested in getting involved. UpStage is an open source
project created by artists, for artists. It is currently unfunded and
depends on the work of volunteers to keep going. Interested people are
always welcome to get involved and contribute in whatever way you can.

Wednesday 2nd February and share what you think about UpStage and its
future. If you want to contribute but can’t attend this meeting, don’t
worry: we’ll post the log on the web site and you can email

and ideas.
