hello NB_ers
I've been snuggling between lines on this list as though multicoloured clothes
to bury a face in pressed up against the back of a cupboard.   that back has
given way to a world.   inexplicably. unexpected.  will always come back here
to this overwhelm.
it felt that to speak at all i needed to speak against, in defence - give
reasons, excuses, explanations, i didn't know how to speak the pain lightly and
without blame -  i did need all your tongues to get here . . . to have SO MANY
TONGUES!  . . . i have arms, quenched arms, soaked arms, dissolved arms for
each of them
thank you all - and Ruth for highlighting Aileen's extraordinary post, and
these bits in particular:
Yet it is also a measure of how very safe, protected and sheltered I am that
other people were paying attention, and they looked after me when I felt unable
to function.
yet the experience of being a sad, hurt, lonely child is so widespread and so
common that a platform like this establishes a foundation for understanding,
for solidarity, for mutual respect. There are no monsters. There are only
people, and as human beings we are all fallible and vulnerable beings in need
of one another in so many different ways.

What mattered was that she was met with understanding and respect by those with
whom she shared her story. That enabled her to say, “It’s all right. It’s over
now.”

i think of the existence of this list as a resource for the void and void for
the impulses of elitism :-)

yoicks!  elk in the firmament . . . nothing is as it seems.  father christmas
is a spider spin doctor with giddying side effects that turn you gaga AAAARGH!

i made the attached videos some days ago but constraints prevented my posting
it . . . apologies for poorest quality  . . .
it was made in a legs_don't_fail_me_now and/or make_me_giddy_gaga moment

I feel heard in many different ways.  amazing grace.  to all.
Wendy
