Thanks Manik! & thanks to all who said nice things about the manifestos. We 
really enjoy working with these students & with their counterparts in the 
second and third years of the course. Its a cliche but no less true for that 
that we learn as much as we teach and often much more!

        The first year students on the Art & Design course Ruth Catlow 
        & I teach on each wrote their own art manifesto last week. They 
        presented them this morning and we recorded them and put them on
