I wonder if anyone knows what is going on with the Critical Code Studies group that was set up sometime last year (or was it earlier?). This seemed like an interesting initiative at the time. It sounded like it was supposed to have an artistic bent to it. However, when I looked at some of the ongoing discussions on their website at some point, it looked like they were taking conventional code and attempting to discuss it in an (art)-critical way. At best, it seemed forced. Sort of like trying to critique a professionally painted house as one might attempt to critique a painting on canvas.
