Ruth--
I think you have done something quite wonderful and also original with this project. Among other things, you have erased the boundary between artist and subject. Your landscapes become landscape. That they are also beautiful is also not to be taken for granted, because in this case, not only did you have a great idea, but also the skills to make it work. I appreciated your blog as well, and your comments about the crisis artists are facing in UK. Historically, UK (IMHO) has valued its artists far more than we do in the USA, and it is truly sad to see what is happening. If you need an argument for more vacation, this work certainly establishes that point. Here I have blogged some drawings, photographs and videos that I made while I was there. http://www.furtherfield.org/blog/ruth-catlow/landscape-natureculture : ) Ruth -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ NetBehaviour mailing list [email protected] http://www.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour
