Hello everyone! thanks to everyone who's been joining in the Electronic Man performance. There has been lots of you and I hope you all did enjoy and found interesting the idea of being able to build your own additional sense and to share it with a global community of people.
The performance is being really successful, meaning that lots of people are actually using it, and some of you are asking us if they can have the software, so that they can build their own additional sense to the most varied issues: from being able to instantly share alerts for activist actions, to opportunities for global awareness on ecological issues (ex.: get a vibration when a miner dies in a lithium mine in africa) to many other things that many people are proposing. The answer is, obviously, yes: we haven't had time yet, but just wait till we get at least 3 hours sleep and there wil be, as usual, all the source code involved in the performance released on Art is Open Source and FakePress. In the meanwhile, against the last few opportunities to finally get some rest, we will join in at the ADD festival at the MACRO museum in Rome to further expand the performance. We have a full white wall reserved for all af you who are sending in the images of the QRCode stickers of the performance they are placing in various cities of the world (more that 1500 different locations up to now). And we are able to exhibit your picture as well as some information about you (a bio, some links.. you choose): so make sure to send them in and we'll put them in the big wall reserved for this in the museum. here below the info for the festival and exhibit. ciao! xDxD Less than a month from the celebration of the Marshall McLuhan Centennial in Rome, The Electronic Man will participate to a new event between art, technology, performances, installations.
