Hi Marc, Thanks for taking a look. You're right, of course, there are a lot of my interests rising through the imagery. Another of my pieces that I'll be uploading when time allows is more blatantly pagan/Buddhist influenced. I'm wary of trying to impose too much critical baggage on any of my own work because I'm aware that they aren't necessarily created with that end goal in mind.
Having said that, it's interesting how in the process of creation every filmic/literary/fine art influence that is valid and in context floods into your thoughts and guides you. Another reason to engage with a broad range of the arts outside of any particular chosen field. In some ways I create stuff to understand the work of others - maybe? That's the eternal critic in me!
