Hi everyone,
If you are in the South West this weekend there will be a talk from
Julian Tait (Future Everything) on Open Data Cities, Saturday 18th
June 3pm-4pm at Spacex, Exeter.
Julian will discuss the creative and social impact of making national
and publicly owned datasets open, with reference to Manchester as
Britain’s first Open Data City. Open data and transparency is being
firmly promoted by artists, activists, developers and government
alike. Can freely available data enable social change around
transparent governance and so help to reconnect people to the
democratic process?
The event is part of a series of talk and events happening as part of
the exhibition The Recipe Exchange, at Spacex, Exeter. .More details
