This all sounds interesting & I'm sure the Perry Bard piece will be great. What a shame, though, the curators missed out on another Canal Street piece -Doron Golan's wonderful 'Broadway_Canal' from 2003.
http://the9th.com/03/broadway_canal/index1.html It has the combination of the everyday with a innoculation (or uncovering) of an unsettling strangeness that typifies so much of Doron's work ( radically varied as it is in actual subject matter) Do take a look , you won't regret it! michael --- On Fri, 6/24/11, info <[email protected]> wrote: > From: info <[email protected]> > Subject: [NetBehaviour] my video Canal Street:the Day After 9/11 in > Streetwise at Chelsea Museum > To: "NetBehaviour for networked distributed creativity" > <[email protected]> > Date: Friday, June 24, 2011, 10:58 AM > http://www.chelseaartmuseum.org/portfolios/streetwise/ > > STREETWISE > > June 23, July 30, 2011 > > Opening Reception: Thursday, June 23, 6pm - 8pm > > Ground Floor, Gallery 2 > > Curated by Elga Wimmer > > Chelsea Art Museum > > 556 West 22nd Street, > > New York, NY 10011 > _______________________________________________ > NetBehaviour mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour > _______________________________________________ NetBehaviour mailing list [email protected] http://www.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour
