HI Martha, Joel, everyone
I'd meant to (and didn't because I wasn't organised enough) post the link to
Joel's review here earlier in the week not only because I'd like as many people
as possible to get & read Millie's book, which is a compendium of pleasures,
intellectual and affective, but also because Joel's review is so beautifully
written.
It has im miniature the combination of austerity, intensity and clarity which
characterises Joel's work on the web, well worth looking into for those who
haven't already done so.
