weakly bytes

at the saturday preceding this week i cycled over to my and on the way
through the heard my heart in my ear

i heard my heart in my ear for most of the week. i slept from 8pm
saturday through sunday to monday morning.

i went to the doctor on monday who told me it was a mystery.

i attempted to shower in the morning before visiting the doctor but it
set off the nausea again and i was sick.

there was nothing to be sick though as i hadn't eaten since 3pm saturday.

ssh don't tell anyone but

i went back to work on wednesday. it was a struggle but seeing as the
day before i'd i thought it only proper to return to work.

so last night i slept like a log. oh no i've got that wrong. i didn't
sleep at all. ideas banging around my head. i didn't want to be in bed
but in bed i had to be to be at work this morning. but i didn't want
to be at work because work is so unproductive for me. work interrupts
my flow like a pumping station in a river.

i bought a digital video camera for use with my bicycle as the videos
recorded on my mobile telephone the other week when the golf open was
on were a disaster.

the digital video camera arrived at my yesterday and i went to see
them and collect it. i drank a cup of tea there and walked their dog
around the garden.

one of the ideas i had last night was to. today i upgraded the idea to
become a series of weekly digital works called 'weakly bytes' based on
my pay slip. the first in the series is a JPEG image of as yet unknown
pixel count but of precisely £198.28 file size (that's roughly 198Kb
Sterling).

so i went to work today without any sleep last night and came home and
made a device to mount the camera to my mountain bicycle. the camera
mounts which came with the camera were insufficient to do this. one
mount allows one to mount the camera to a flat surface via a sticky
foam pad which is recommended to be stuck in place the night before.
the other mount is for use with goggles - the type of goggles with a
wide elasticated band that goes from ones left temple all the way
around the back of the head and to the right temple.

today at i kept an eye open for from the. i sourced myself some
rejected. i already had some sprues but these were no use today. i
also had two other things i have never figured out the purpose of but
yes they were rejects too. i turned these into a pair of plates for
mounting my camera with. I used an old inner tube to mount the goggle
mount to the plastic plates. the plastic plates had two holes in each
end so i secured the inner tube with bolts and large washers so the
tube pulled tight. other genius moments ocurred ud.. the mount took 3
hours to make and two cups of coffee.

this is my most advanced video i've ever produced.

it has sound from a sound source not part of the video recorded by the camera.

it was converted from

using 'handbrake'

using lives!

using arch linux
