Hi everyone, After letting the world know about Mark Hancock's review on Remixthebook by artist, author Mark Amerika and co-curator and artist Rick Silva - http://www.furtherfield.org/features/reviews/remixthebook-everything-all-once
I received an email from David Schwertgen, regarding a trilogy of films he made called 'Collage Culturel'. "Sampling, collage and remixing are not the sole property of music. Remixing is the defining cultural technique of the 21st century. 'Collage culturel' embarks on a search for the perfect fusion of styles, the perfect beat and the perfect collage. The form creates the content: 'Collage culturel' permanently remixes itself. The users produces a wild mash of images and sounds. It all kicks off in March with bootleg DJ Shir Khan, Californian collage artist Thomas Chapman and Berlin based fashion designers c.neeon." You can find all three parts here - enjoy :-) http://creative.arte.tv/en/space/Collage_culturel/message/1590/Collage_culturel__Episode_1__EN_/ http://creative.arte.tv/en/space/Collage_culturel/message/2191/Collage_culturel__Episode_2__EN_/ http://creative.arte.tv/en/space/Collage_culturel/message/2860/Collage_culturel__Episode_3__EN_/ Wishing all well. marc _______________________________________________ NetBehaviour mailing list [email protected] http://www.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour
