Manifestation for new music and new instruments! Concert - workshop - exhibition On September 3, 2011, Syntjuntan arranges a mini festival in and outside the auditorium at Kulturhuset in Stockholm, with new music for new instruments. Workshop 14.00, concerts 16.00, 17.00, 18.00, 19.00 and much more! Syntjuntans day will be buzzing with life and movement. There will be resistance textiles, knitted, felted and crackling electronics mixed with classical instruments and participating audience. The day begins with a synth-sewing workshop followed by four concerts. In the intervals there will be more synth-sewing workshops. There is also an exhibition of textile resistances that the audience may audition, a presentation of the project "Textile resistance" and mingle. This first performance takes place in the Eric Ericson Hall and is held in connection with the celebration of Skepsholmens Day, 2011th ZO-4 is a work in which an ever rising timbre meets electronic noise. Dressed in black with personal opportunistic accessories, choreographed singers will succeed one another for an entire day. The movement of the audience and the singers are part of the score and will be interpreted by live electronic musicians. Featuring singer from Plica Vocalise, Annas kör, Stans kör, Shhh kören and musicians Lise-Lotte Norelius, Jacob Riis and Sten-Olof Hellström. World premiere: Sunday, September 11, 2011, at 11.00 -17.00 Location: The Eric Ericson Hall, Skeppsholmen ZO-4 is the fourth and final movement in Ann Rosen work Zonula Occludens. The work is based on the idea of an eternally rising tone (cf. Shepard tone). The work with ZO-4 has been assisted by Lena Frilund, singer and director and Carina Törnblom, producer.
