Hi everyone,
I am developing an international collaboration project between Israel and the
UK.
The aim of the project is to understand better the existing frame work
and boundaries in 'Telematic Performance Making' when using online web
application
and mobile devices and stretch these boundaries. Artists from both countries
will meet on a regular basis, explore and create the project.
It is still in its first steps and a lot of the things are open.
I open it here, at this very early stage, asking for help in order to refine
and focus the idea.
Personally I'm looking to
define, understand and/or further explore dynamics that digital media
creates within the different locations and in each location. I am also
interested in the way the collaboration process is affected by (1) the
distance and the different cultures (2) the media that is used and
developed in the process.
In this project my main focus is exploring methods and collaboration methods
rather than bringing out a statement or an idea.
I would like to
(1) hear and discuss similar projects
(2) talk with artists that are developing something or have an
idea/statement/vision that may be suitable for this kind of framework
