the 22-yr-old Justy stalled-out just as I rounded the inclined-corner at Thriftway: it started-back-up but I turned-around and drove home thinking I don't want to deal with this now (too many attendant details on two trips) ... as I let it run at a high revolution for several minutes and it started to sound just fine (although there's a new gurgling noise) -- I think maybe it doesn't get enough highway speeds + the old gas -- so anyway I chanced-it and drove uneventfully to Fred Meyer and back --> parking in my old, now-available spot ;)) --- bought some STP fuel additives (and stabilizer for when it's parked for four months,) which might unclog something (although I'm ever mindful of Jay-the-mechanic at Owl Harbor telling me that they're a waste of money)...
the banana-rice curry is quite nice but yes needs much more heat; thanks! 149 Sept fuel points today plus I saved over $25 with many coupons (the senior 55+ first-Tuesday discount didn't help all that much) total points so far: 1531 the main menu item will be variable fancy sandwiches (English muffins, crusty artisan bread), tomatoes, walla-walla onion, garlic-spread (may make some pesto too), spinach and (the Japanese vegetables from out-front), eggs (18: only $2), fish-cakes, white cheddar and provolone cheese slices, 'Canadian' bacon... very shiny Fuji apples, bananas, corn, sierra-mist diet lemon-lime soda (buy 4 get 2 free), soda water, FM diet lemon-lime, OJ, canola oil, (big green tea box still not on sale,) shampoo, deodorant, another drop sheet for the art-boxes outside, big fancy set of 50 color-pencils for the Fiji-village children (almost free with coupon -- I'm imagining projects for the school if I'm permitted)... these shopping-lists are almost forming the basis for a novel ;))) at the beginning I was going to say to the cashier -- I sidestepped the sneaky little grey-haired man -- but she seemed grouchy as well, (only the Mexican produce-section-worker seems happy in the mornings) -- "in case I forget please include some postage-stamps," but I got so caught-up in the coupons, that I _did forget... perhaps I'll go-by-way-of the Thriftway post-office on my walk... /:b _______________________________________________ NetBehaviour mailing list [email protected] http://www.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour
