Hi Everyone! Do you know of or have you heard of any Artist Books in digital formats? What I mean is, is there anywhere that puts out ebooks that are created by/with artists?
Over the past few years, and with the increasing availability of good ereaders and tablets, I've thought that the ebook format might be an interesting place for crossover between artist books and digital artworks like eLit or even internet art. An artist book in in something like an epub file on an ipad might contain both aspects of more traditional books while also potentially opening up access to the creation of interactive artworks. Its really just an idea and I'd like to do more research. I want to know more. If anybody has any resources or links, please send them my way! cheers bill -- A.
