Hi, Just a quick plug for a show I'm in next weekend at The Zabludowicz Collection in Chalk Farm. I'll be re-presenting Time Piece (2011) followed by a Q&A session with Helen Frosi, co-director of Soundfjord, and in addition some selected field recording excerpts from my Various Artists project throughout the weekend. Drop by in person, tune in locally or online. More info below and PDF attached:
Acoustic Mirrors Saturday 4 – Sunday 5 February, 12 – 6pm Preview: Friday 3 February, 6 – 10pm A dynamic weekend of events and live radio broadcast organised by curating students from the Royal College of Art and Goldsmiths College. Taking as their starting point the question of how we experience an artwork conceptually and physically without the possibility of direct access. Acoustic Mirrors invites speakers from a broad array of backgrounds and members of the public to reflect on the conceptual and physical distribution of art today. Acting as the focal point for the exhibition, the Charlie Woolley Radio Show will play host to guests including Lenka Clayton, Patrick Coyle, Alfredo Cramerotti, Michael Crowe, Doug Fishbone, Karen Di Franco, Sam Fenton-Elstone, Tom Godfrey, Seth Guy, James Harkin, Jaimie Hodgson, Toby Huddlestone, Jeremy Hutchinson, Kelly Large, Lisa Le Feuvre, Pierre Leguillon, Claudia Molitor, Garrett Phelan, Dan- iel Ploeger, Postworks, Aura Satz, and Christopher Kulendran Thomas, amongst others...
