"Searching for Michelle/SFM" is a networked, non-linear narrative. It begins as
a search for a lost painting, then loses itself and finds itself once more,
exploring ideas drawn from interface design, new media theory and film noir
along the way.
"Searching for Michelle/SFM" is a 2011 commission of New Radio and Performing
Arts, Inc. for its Turbulence website. It was made possible with funding from
the National Endowment for the Arts.
BIOGRAPHY
Maja Kalogera is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher and educator working
mainly at the convergence of art and technology. Most of her works engage with
the internet and experiment with image and sound, transgressing pre-established
boundaries. Maja has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions
locally and internationally. She is also the recipient of a number of grants
and awards. She lives and works in Zagreb
