Hi Dave
I can think of no compliment I would rather receive than a young person
thinking something I made was "really funny"...
The piece is made from grabs from a documentary about Pierre Huyghe and "his"
character Annlee. The text was derived by cutting up another post to the NIMK
project, which was then sent to a text to speech program. The other sounds are
tiny loops from a 1912 wax cylinder recording of a rather obscure string
quartet, and from something I'd written.
I assembled the sound in a free multitrack thing called Kristall, the
"graphics" in Photoshop, then the final movie in Premiere, just because that's
what I'm used to...
I really glad you like it; it tickles me :)
warmest wishes
michael

Hi michael - that's superb!
I especially like the painted animation over the head, and the bird
flying. It has a really nice feel about it, a strange mix of 60's
French nouvelle vague mixed in with rap and the disturbing Annlee
character, but it all somehow works very well.
What software do you use for the video editing? Do you make all the
music as well? You're very talented Michael!
p.s. Amy (my daughter) thought it was really "funny" (which is her
sort of compliment!)
all the best
Dave
