Andreas Broeckmann is a commentator on media art and a curator whose 
work has explored the boundaries between publicness and intimacy, 
technology and wildness.

Lawrence Bird interviewed him recently on our current experience of 
media and civil society.

Broeckmann writes on art, machine aesthetics, and digital culture. He is 
director of Leuphana Arts Program at the university in Lüneburg, and has 
played key roles at Transmediale - festival for art and digital culture, 
ISEA2010 RUHR, TESLA-Laboratory for Arts and Media, Berlin, and 
V2_Organisation Rotterdam, Institute for the Unstable Media.
