Please celebrate the close of the International Festival of Digital Art
2012 with us

In January this year we opened our International Festival of Digital Art
2012 with a sighting of Boris Johnson who came to Watermans, enjoyed Suguru
Goto's Cymatics, spoke to Antoine de Navacelle in French and switched on
GEOMETRY, the light sculpture that has graced Brentford's skyline all year,
likening it to Luke Skywalkers lightsabre, a lasting force for good.

Since then we have enjoyed UNITY from Africa, magic and sleight of hand
with HokusPokus from Australia, Phoebe Hui's relaxing swings in Granular
Graph from Asia and Going with the Flow which re-created the sensation of
rowing, from the UK.

The final instalment is Strata-caster by Joseph Farbrook, an exploration of
the topography of power, prestige and position.

To mark the end of this amazing series of installations and to celebrate
the *launch of* *Touch and Go, a Leonardo Electronic Almanac special issue* for
the Festival, we would like to invite you to attend the *PRIVATE VIEW for
Strata-caster on Wednesday 26 September from 6.30pm* here at Watermans. At
7pm there will be a short presentation by Andrew Ward, Chair of Watermans
Board and Irini Papadimitriou, Head of New Media Art at Watermans. Plus, *
Firefly*, a game of dark intentions, by Pollie Barden and *Where is Louren**
c**o Marques?*, a virtual world built by accounts of those who inhabited it
during the colonial period and were forced to leave, by Rui Filipe Antunes.

Drinks and canapes will be served.
