Hi Dave, It's moments like these, when you know something special is happening. And, it's not because of one's own single contribution, it's because of everyone else's involvement offering their own personal intentions at different levels, to make a whole. It was great to meet so many people from so many different parts of the world yesterday. I heard so many different languages - the work was communicating in ways that I had (admittedly) forgotten - that it could.
So, thanks for nice comments Dave, it ain't easy as I am sure others know getting all this set up. But, somehow we manage it and when it works, it's a good feeling :-) We have some other projects which will expand things even further - where we intend to initiate 2 'commons spaces' for all. I must not jinx it - but, it will be local, grass roots and critically engaged in respect of people claiming control of different forms of media & mediums, some of it technological, some of it involving survival tactics in a neoliberal dominated age, and also peer & self education, and co-cultural hacking.
