Waterwheel is an on line platform dedicated to Water as a topic and metaphor. Designed and made in Brisbane by Suzon Fuks, Mat Johnson, Inkahoots and Igneous, it has been recently nominated for the prestigious international Ars Electronica Award for Digital Communities. @prixars #communities nomination WATERWHEEL http://water-wheel.net The 3rd Waterwheel World Water Day Symposium (#3WDS13 on twitter). The symposium will be a 24-hour non-stop event, on 22-23 March 2013, Over 100 scientists, artists and activists from 5 continents present and interact on line in nodes in Australia, Hong Kong, Tunisia, USA and Argentina.

BRISBANE NODE Traversing the globe for 24 hours, this year’s symposium starts and ends in Australia. It kicks off on 22 March at 4.30pm at the Griffith University QCA Project Gallery at Southbank, where Brisbane audiences will be treated to a screening by Trish Fitzsimons and photographs by Greg Hoy.
