I remember the thing and meeting Wolfgang here; there were other small
digital arts communities around then as well. I was on the MONO BBS from
England, and some BBS here that were working with fractals among other
things. There was also Fidonet, which fascianted me, from San Francisco;
Tom Jennings, who invented it, later went on to start Homocore magazine.
