Great stuff - but I'm having a hard time making up my mind whether it would have been better without the live audience. I think the fact that you can hear people laughing off-camera throughout the performance has the effect of encouraging you to see it as a humorous piece of work, whereas if you were left to react to the performance all by yourself you might equally well find it rather sad. On the other hand, you do get a nice feeling of warmth and enjoyment from the applause at the end. And it asks some very interesting questions, of course, about what constitutes a good performance.
