Hi All, I haven't posted in a long time but it just occurred to me that some people on the list might be interested in the fund I'm running.
The Digital R&D Fund for the Arts is a funding programme to enable arts organisations to investigate ways that technology can increase audience reach or provide a new business model. The idea is to find innovative ways to utilise technology within the arts sector and then to ensure that the knowledge and technology is available to the wider arts sector. Note that this isn't about funding art projects, but projects that will strengthen the sector. Applications have to come from a consortium of an organisation with an art project, a tech partner and a research partner - all from different organisations. You can find out more information about the fund here: http://www.artsdigitalrnd.org.uk/content/about-digital-rd-fund There is a two tier application process. 1. Expression of Interest (EoI) application - a rolling application process with a 7 week turn around. You can submit more than once after you've received feedback. The final deadline is 30th December. 2. Final applications - you have to be invited to submit a final application, based on your EoI review. The deadlines for these are: October 18th and March 10th. Shortlisted applicants from the Final application process are invited to interview. There is also a Research+ funding stream and a Call for Big Data funding stream. Research+ is a rolling application process based on the main fund The Call for Big Data has a deadline of this Friday (13th September). As I said please do look at the web site and get in touch via the web site if you have any queries. All the best Emma -- Emma Quinn http://uk.linkedin.com/in/emmaquinn
