Applications are welcome for a new Full Time Programming Post Starting
in January 2014 to work on the "fun to play" Protein Docking Game
(Dock-IT) being developed by Goldsmiths (University of London) Computer
Games <http://www.gamesgoldsmiths.com> group and Imperial College
Bioinformatics <http://www.sbg.bio.ic.ac.uk/>Group, which is lead on the
Goldsmiths side by Prof. Frederic Fol Leymarie
<http://www.folleymarie.com> and Prof. William Latham
<http://latham-mutator.com/>, and on the Imperial side by Prof. Michael
Sternberg <http://tinyurl.com/pv9nhkn>. This is a major 3 year project
funded by the BBSRC.
We are looking for a talented programmer from the Games, App Dev or
Special Effects Industries or Academia to take a lead / senior role. The
aim is to create a game which is "fun to play" but underpinned with
strong science. The aim is also to generate valuable research.
Salary: from £34,953 to £38,984 pa incl LW. Up to 3 years. (Likely
to be extended). Closing Date for Applications Jan 12^th 2014.
