4chan.org/b has been busy discussing a new currency called Dogecoin over the last week or so. Judging by the number of threads/posts/articles explaining that it is indeed 'real', I'm not the only one bemused by its existence. The OP on bitcointalk - complete with comic sans, nonsense hip buzzwords and an ecosystem of dogecoin gambling rings and mining pools - is worth a read.
