Thanks Rob for the thoughts, ideas, links and putting them all in writing.. :)
I think the direction is inspiring, if I understand rather that misinterpret wildly, because it offers a potential(??) for making the exchange be the product be the exchange. Hence ridding us from a dualistic approach to producing and exchanging. Indeed, an aesthetic approach, an approach that stems from senses into unknown effects - rather than attempting to produce certain effects via other means - might be a way that could operate socially.. Worth trying to operate, I think. Since without some critique it will feel like am short changing, it seems that perhaps the assertion of agoric system taking out gamification is not entirely correct because there are sets of incentives and disincentives which will get each element/person in the system more - or less - "tokens" pending how they operate within and The system. The other, possibly more general, game linked element is precisely the thinking of the agoric process as a system. A system, I think, can always be gamed because it will have a set of rules that define it. No? Cheers and all the bests!! ahanone xxx > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > "Agorizing aesthetics and philosophy means producing them using market > pricing mechanisms.
