> Hi all,

Hi Roger,

Hope this finds you well!

Am curious by the use of the term "cross" and how it operates for the kind
of stuff you might have in mind..

In case the following might be around about how Cross reality might be:

* I think that Natacha Roussel's work in general might be the kind of
stuff you might talk about?
The fact she is crossing domains like code, physical, aural and conceptual
sensations, as well as materials and senses of interfacing realities - eg
wearable crossing with organic body, etc.

* Way back, when vrml seemed a viable idea, google was said to be a garage
operation, "whole earth" was a reference to a magazine rather than
google's visible reach, and surfing the web was a popular term, I began
this activity called wipper.

The idea is of surfing a few realities, or rather senses of realities.
Hence, while surfing the web, people surf along the ground - the movements
affect each - physical ground/position and web/screen position. Also,
integrated is a view from space to provide the sense of movement in
relation to the planet as a whole..

Here's an image with yours truly as the model:

More info (heavily dripped in context of linked research at the time todo
with hypnosis & interfaces):

* http://opensourcecureforcancer.com/ is another cross reality push, in my
mind at least.. Because the data can be - and is - used in various
physicalities (eg digital and organic), as well as domains of search &
research. All of which seem to cross at the tumour..

Hopefully there is some info of relevance here.. If not, then will be fab
to get an idea as to the cross have in mind.. trans or cross?

Cheers and all the best!

Aharon
xx

(btw.. talking of trans - perhaps some here will be interested in
http://transhackfeminist.noblogs.org/ - seems to have a few crossings
there as well.. ;) )

what people are creatively doing with it.
