Fascinating ( particularly to me as a relative coding ignoramus) . I read the whole thing, biogs, descriptions & all... It's interesting how "artified" the presentations of the material are ( so the question, often discussed here and elsewhere about whether code can constitute art is separate to the simple "presentation" of the material using the tropes, particularly, of conceptual art. The hello world puts me strongly in mind of the early Weiner - and , ironically , one could speculate that *his* journey from early elegance to lumbering gigantism was dictated by similarly non-intrinsic considerations, ie having a commodity to put forward....) Thanks for posting this! Michael
