Hi folks,
Here’s a video/piece of music I’ve put together following my trip to Resonate
in Serbia. Originally it was going to be just the sounds I’d recorded over
there, but I’ve layered it with Tibetan singing bowl and guitar samples, all
then worked on in post-production.
Why vipassanūpakkilesa you ask? It means corruption of insight. When you think
you’ve made a major breakthrough on the path to enlightenment and instead
you’ve been misled by the false promises of earth-bound trappings. Art making
can be like that, don’t you think? And also, just life in general, a lot of the
time. But that’s a good thing, because realisation of vipassanūpakkilesa means
you’re still on the path.
