*The countdown for the N.I.C.E. Award 2015 is on*! Only two weeks left
until entries close on *1 July 2015*.
We hereby would like to remind you of our Call for Entries for the
N.I.C.E. Award 2015 and hope that you are going to submit your project
for the Award or distribute this Call and the attached Flyer

your mailing lists and channels in order to enable as many applicants as
possible to participate!
_The N.I.C.E. Award _
Under the headline “*Solving the World`s Major Challenges: A Call for
Innovations*” projects, research projects and political strategies from
the cultural and creative sector are awarded with a total prize money of
up to *20,000 Euro*. We are looking for surprising and experimental
ideas which offer solutions for the global problems of our time. In
addition, amongst all entries, a special prize is awarded in the field
of digital innovations.
_Procedure_
The winners will be chosen by an international jury under the lead of
Charles Landry and are handed out the Award by Garrelt Duin, Minister
for Economic Affairs, Energy and Industry of the State of North
Rhine-Westphalia on *23 September 2015* at the *4^th Forum d´Avignon*
Ruhr in Essen. The evening before, on 22 September, the projects of all
shortlist nominees will be presented at the N.I.C.E. Exhibition opening.
The N.I.C.E. Award is supported by the Ministry for Economic Affairs,
Energy and Industry of the State North Rhine-Westphalia and the Cities
of Bochum, Dortmund, Essen and Gelsenkirchen.
