*Clean Break*

*Digital Artist in Residence (Weston Jerwood Creative Bursary)*

*21 hours, North London*

*£18,000 pro rata*

*Duration of Bursary: 1 year (August 2015 – August 2016)*

Clean Break seeks to appoint an exceptional woman digital artist to deliver the company’s digital output for 2015-16. This is a new and exciting role for the company, which is at the forefront of new writing and theatre for women affected by the criminal justice system. The Digital Artist in Residence will have the opportunity of working collaboratively with lead staff, playwrights, theatre artists, women students on our education programme and women in prison. She will engage with the organisation within the first year of our new Digital Strategy delivery and during an important period of digital discovery and development for our company. This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent digital artist graduate to engage with a theatre company with a strong education programme in community and custody settings, and with a political and social justice underpinning to our work.

The role is open to women only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1). Applications are actively encouraged from black and minority ethnic women. Applicants who state they are ex-offenders or are disabled, who meet the essential eligibility criteria, will be guaranteed an interview.

*PLEASE NOTE: This role is offered as part of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries and is aimed specifically at recent graduates (since 2013) whose circumstances mean they would not otherwise be in a position to develop their skills and CV through unpaid work experience. There are strict eligibility criteria you must meet in order to apply. *

Details from www.cleanbreak.org.uk/vacancies <http://www.cleanbreak.org.uk/vacancies> or [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> (no CVs) or call 020 7482 8600. For an informal conversation about the post, contact Molly McPhee, General Manager, on the above number. *Application deadline: 10am, Monday 6 July.*

*Ground-breaking brilliance: something theatre company Clean Break pride themselves on*. The Londonist, 2013
